MICHAEL WALFORD, PUBLIC WORKS DIRECTOR DATE: April 3, 1991 SUBJECT: AVIATION ADVISORY COMMITTEE BYLAWS AMENDMENTS SPECIFIC REQUEST(S)OR RECOIvIIN MAITON(S)&BACKGROUND AND JUSTIFICATION I. Recommended Action: APPROVE amendments to the Aviation Advisory Committee Bylaws as recommended by the AAC. II. Financial Impact: None. 111. Reasons for Recommendations and Background: At its regularly scheduled March 19 meeting, the AAC discussed that the bylaws be revised in Section II Membership, to add one (1) member representing the residents and business and users of the Byron Airport and to change Section V. Quorum from six members to seven members to constitue a quorum. Also, in Section VII Scheduled Meetings to add to the first paragraph "or Byron Airport as appropriate". At its April 15 meeting, the AAC will vote to make the recommended changes to its Bylaws. Also according to AAC Bylaws, amendments must be approved by the Board of Supervisors.
