SPECIFIC REQUEST(S)OR RECOMMENDATION(S)&BACKGROUND AND JUSTIFICATION
I. Recommended 'Action:
A. ACCEPT a Quitclaim Deed from Reynolds & Brown, Inc . , a
California Corporation, for the premises located on the
northeast corner of the intersection of Concord Avenue
and John Glenn Drive, Concord, California, owned in fee
by Contra Costa County, and more particularly described
in Exhibit "A" to said Quitclaim Deed; and
B. DIRECT the Lease Management Division to have the above
referenced Deed recorded in the Office of the County
Recorder.
II . Financial Impact: None
III . Reasons for Recommendations/Background: On March 19, 1991 ,
the Board of Supervisors authorized the execution of an
Exclusive Right to Negotiate (ERN) with Reynolds & Brown,
Inc . , for the development of the 13 . 3 acre' Airport Center site
on Buchanan Field Airport property in Concord. As part of
that ERN agreement, and at the time of its execution, the
parties agreed that Reynolds & Brown, Inc. would Quitclaim all
of its tights, title, interests or claims in that property.

For good and valuable consideration, receipt of which is hereby acknowledged,
Reynolds and Brown, Inc. , a California Corporation (Grantor) does hereby remise,
release and forever quitclaim to Contra Costa County, a political subdivision of the
State of California, the following described real property, situated in the County of
Contra Costa, State of California and described in Exhibit "A" attached hereto and
made a part hereof.
The Grantor hereby remises, releases and quitclaims to Contra Costa County any and
all rights, title, interest or claims arising out of that certain Option to Ground
Lease dated January 1, 1985, together with all exhibits or attachments thereto, that
certain Short Form of Option to Ground Lease recorded on March 5, 1986 in Book 12770,
page 223, Contra Costa County Records, and that certain Development Agreement dated
November 5, 1985, and recorded March 5, 1986 in Book 12770, page 225, Contra Costa
County Records.
