III. Reasons for Recommendations and Background Cont'd.
The general prevailing rates of wages, which shall be the minimum rates paid on this project,
have been filed with the Clerk of the Board and copies will be made available to any interested
party upon request.
The Board reviewed and approved the project on April 10, 1990 and found, on the basis of the
initial study and all comments received, that there is no substantial evidence that the project will
have a significant effect on the environment and adopted the Negative Declaration. A Notice of
Determination was filed with the County Clerk on April 11, 1990.
IV. Consequences of Negative Action:
If the project is not approved for advertising, a bike route to Stone Valley Middle School will not
be provided. Children will continue to ride on the existing narrow road. Also, without an overlay
the surface of Miranda Avenue will continue to deteriorate.
