FINANCIAL IMPACT There is no financial impact beyond that already forecast and budgeted as part of the projects' construction change order allowance. The estimate for this work totals $30,341. REASONS FOR RECONNECATION/BACKGROUND The Director, Justice System Programs has been given the authority to sign individual change orders up to a limit of $25,000 each. Change Orders exceeding $25,000 require Board Authorization. During construction, the Sheriff's Department had the Architect redesign the food distribution system to use food carts. As a result of this change, the pantry area of each housing module (9) was modified to receive and store these new food carts. These changes included the relocation of plumbing, moM'ato wingcounters, and addition of corner guards and cart bumpers.
