The Board of Supervisors of Contra Costa County RESOLVES THAT:
This summary vacation of an excess right of way of a street or highway no longer
required for street or highway purposes, is made pursuant to Division 9, Part 3, Chapter 4 of the
Streets and Highways Code, commencing with Section 8330.
This vacation request is for portions of Victorine Road located in the Tassajara area. A
description of the portions,, be vacated are attached hereto as Exhibit "A" and incorporated
herein by reference.
This vacation request is for an excess right of way of a street not required for street
purposes. (S. & H. Code ''Section 8334).
This Board hereby FINDS1'that the proposed vacation will not have a significant effect on the
environment, and that it has been determined to be categorically exempt from the California
Environmental Quality Act under State CEQA Guidelines Section 15312. The proposed vacation
is part of a sale of surplus government property not located in an area of statewide, regional or
areawide concern. The Public Works Director is ORDERED to file a Notice of Exemption with
the County Clerk. The Planning Commission having filed its general plan report concerning this
proposed vacation and this Board having considered the general plan, FINDS pursuant to
Government Code Section 65402 that in accordance with its Resolution No. 81/522, this vacation
is minor in nature and is therefore exempt from general plan conformance.

This Board declares that the hereinabove described proposed vacation area is HEREBY
ORDERED VACATED subject to any reservation and exception described in attached Exhibit
"A". From and after the ,date this Resolution is recorded, the portions vacated no longer
constitute a public highway.
The Real Property Division is ORDERED to record a certified copy of this Resolution in
the office of the County Recorder.

Parcel 1:
A portion of Victorine Road conveyed to Contra Costa County by deed recorded in Book
284 of Deeds at page 54, records of said County, more particularly described as follows:
Beginning at an angle .point on the boundary of Victorine Road (284 D 54); said angle
point being offset westerly from the centerline bearings called south 20002' east and south
0°44' west in said deed, the basis of bearings for this description; thence from the POINT
OF BEGINNING, along said boundary, north 0044' east 117.30 feet, to the proposed
boundary of Victorine Road realignment; thence, along said proposed boundary, south
3030' east 146.15 feet, to the boundary of Victorine Road (284 D 54); thence along said
boundary (284 D 54), north 20002' west 30.43 feet, to the POINT OF BEGINNING.
Containing an area of 633 square feet (0.01 acres) of land, more or less.

Hoiland Ranch filed in Book 16 of Maps at page 347; thence from the POINT OF
BEGINNING, along then,'boundary of Victorine Road (284 D 54), the basis of bearings for
this description, south'!i1 047' east 1,710.39 feet, to an angle point thereon; thence north
47°02' west 13.30 feet to the proposed boundary of Victorine Road realignment; thence
along said proposed boundary, north 1 000' east 87.79 feet and north 1035'58" west
1,613.35 feet, to the POINT lOF BEGINNING.
Containing an area of 4,865 square feet (0.11 acres) of land, more or less.
RESERVING FROM PARCEL ONE, THREE, FIVE AND SIX: Pursuant to the provisions
of Section 8340 of the Streets and Highways Code, the easement and right at any time,
or from time to time, to construct, enlarge, maintain, operate, replace, remove, and renew
those existing and in place utilities, as of the date of recording this instrument, in, upon,
