THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS 1-050 CONTRA COSTA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA Adopted this Resolution on March 26, 1991, by the following vote: AYES: Supervisors Fanden, Schroder, McPeak, Torlakson and Powers NOES: None ABSENT: None ABSTAIN: None RESOLUTION NO. 91/ 184 Government Code § 25526.6 SUBJECT: Property Exchange Juvenile Hall Water Line Easement Martinez Area The Board of Supervisors of Contra Costa County RESOLVES THAT: Contra Costa County is the owner of the Juvenile Hall property located on Glacier Drive, in Martinez. The City of Martinez has requested an easement over a portion of said property, described in Exhibit "A" attached hereto, for relocation of a water line. This Board FINDS that the conveyance of such easement is in the public interest and will not substantially conflict or interfere with the County's use of the property. The Board hereby APPROVES and AUTHORIZES the conveyance of an easement to the City of Martinez, over the property described in Exhibit "A" attached hereto, pursuant to Government Code Section 25526.6 and the Board Chair is hereby AUTHORIZED to execute a Grant of Easement on behalf of the County. The Real Prop- erty Division is DIRECTED to cause said easement to be delivered to the grantee together with a copy of this Resolution. In exchange for the new easement referenced above, the City of Martinez has delivered to Contra Costa County a Quitclaim Deed dated February 20, 1991, for the superseded easement as described in Exhibit "B" attached hereto. Said deed is ACCEPTED and the County Real Property Division is DIRECTED to have said deed recorded in the Office of the County Recorder. This activity is not subject to the California Environmental Quality Act pursuant to Section 15061 (b) (3) of Chapter 3 of CEQA Guidelines. RB:rs c:cmtz.ex March 7, 1991 Quitclaim Water Line Easement Juvenile Hall Property Exhibit "B A portion of the north one-half of Lot 10 of the Las Juntas Rancho partition described as follows: A strip of land of uniform width of ten (10) feet, right angle measurements, along the southerly boundary and a portion of the westerly boundary of the property described in the Deed, and Lease with Options to Purchase, from Contra Costa County to the Board of Retirement of the Contra Costa County Employee Retirement Association recorded on December 17, 1965, in Book 5016 of-Official Records, at page 679, the southerly and westerly line of said 10-foot strip of land more particularly described as follows: Beginning on the west line of Glacier Drive as said drive is shown on the map of Subdivision 2194, recorded March 4, 1964, in Book 97 of Maps, at page 40, at the southeast corner of said County property (5016 OR 679); thence along the southerly line of said County property (5016 OR 679) south 87° 46' west, 860.00 feet to southwest corner thereof; thence along the westerly line of the County property.(5016 OR 679) north 00 12' east 175 feet, more or less, to the southeast corner of the parcel of land described as Parcel One in the deed to George E.
