OF
CONTRA COSTA COUNTY, STATE OF CALIFORNIA
In the Matter of Declaring )
March 20, 1991 as CHILDREN'S ) RESOLUTION NO. 91/161
AND FAMILY SERVICES PROVIDERS' )
DAY Contra Costa County )
On March 20, 1991, the Child Abuse Prevention Council of Contra
Costa County is holding their 12th Annual Conference for the
providers of Children' s and Family Services. This conference is
the Council' s way to honor service providers by presenting an
afternoon of recognition and inspiration.
The need for child care is rapidly increasing; however, resources
have become limited and the need for coordination and provision of
services continues to increase. The people and agencies that
provide Children' s and Family Services have to face many demands
and hardships, but because of their genuine compassion to help
others, they have continued with their profession. We are all
fortunate to be able to benefit from their commitment to children
and families.
Contra Costa County acknowledges the dedication and hard work the
many individuals and agencies working in the field of Children' s
and Family Services and appreciates their continuing commitment to
provide essential child abuse prevention, intervention, and
treatment, as well as supportive family services, in communities
throughout our county.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of Supervisors
declares March 20, 1991 as CHILDREN'S AND FAMILY SERVICES
PROVIDERS' DAY in Contra Costa County.
PASSED AND ADOPTED ON March 19, 1991, by a unanimous vote of the
