HomeMy WebLinkAboutMINUTES - 03191991 - 1.27 IN THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS OF CONTRA COSTA COUNTY, STATE OF CALIFORNIA In the Matter of Declaring ) March 20, 1991 as CHILDREN'S ) RESOLUTION NO. 91/161 AND FAMILY SERVICES PROVIDERS' ) DAY Contra Costa County ) On March 20, 1991, the Child Abuse Prevention Council of Contra Costa County is holding their 12th Annual Conference for the providers of Children' s and Family Services. This conference is the Council' s way to honor service providers by presenting an afternoon of recognition and inspiration. The need for child care is rapidly increasing; however, resources have become limited and the need for coordination and provision of services continues to increase. The people and agencies that provide Children' s and Family Services have to face many demands and hardships, but because of their genuine compassion to help others, they have continued with their profession. We are all fortunate to be able to benefit from their commitment to children and families. Contra Costa County acknowledges the dedication and hard work the many individuals and agencies working in the field of Children' s and Family Services and appreciates their continuing commitment to provide essential child abuse prevention, intervention, and treatment, as well as supportive family services, in communities throughout our county. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of Supervisors declares March 20, 1991 as CHILDREN'S AND FAMILY SERVICES PROVIDERS' DAY in Contra Costa County.
