on Alcoholism and Drug Dependence, Inc. , 12 West 21
Street, New York, NY 10010, advising that due to efforts
of Congressman Miller, the Surgeon General, Federal
Trade Commission, and several other groups, the
fortified alcohol beverages sold under the Cisco ,label
will be repackaged; expressing concern with those
beverages still being sold under the old packaging
process; and requesting the Board to press retailers to
discontinue selling the old packaged beverage.

SUBJECT: Byron Fire Protection District
The Board received a letter dated February 26 , 1991 from
Rick L. Gilmore, Chairman, Byron Fire Protection District Board of
Commissioners, P.O. Box 40, Byron 94514, requesting consolidation
of the Byron and East Diablo Fire Protection Districts.
Supervisor Tom Torlakson referred to a letter dated
February 11 , 1991 from the Committee for Direct Election of Byron
Fire District Commissioners, 5615 Sunfish Court, Byron 94514,
requesting that the issue of direct election of the Commissioners
of the Byron Fire Protection District be placed on the ballot.
IT IS BY THE BOARD ORDERED that the aforesaid letters
are REFERRED to the County Administrator for report back to the
Board on March 26, 1991.

Hire The Older Worker Week.
IT IS BY THE BOARD ORDERED that the week of March 10, 1991
through March 16, 1991 is PROCLAIMED as National Hire the Older Worker
Week in Contra Costa County.
