SUBJECT: STATE HIGHWAY 4 WIDENING AT CAROL LANE, OAKLEY AREA

SPECIFIC REQUEST(S)OR RECOMMENDATION(S)&BACKGROUND AND JUSTIFICATION
I. Recommended Action:
A. APPROVE the Relocation Assistance Claim made by Michael G. Martin, for interest
differential and moving expenses.
B. AUTHORIZE the County Principal Real Property Agent to sign the Claim form on behalf
of the County.
C. AUTHORIZE the County Auditor-Controller to issue a check payable to Michael A. Martin
in the amount of $3,518.14 to be forwarded to the Real Property Division for delivery.
III. Financial Impact:
Payment of $3,518.14 from Oakley Area of Benefit Funds.
III. Reasons for Recommendations and Background:
Payment is for relocation assistance obligation required by Government Code Section 7260, et
seq. resulting from the County's purchase of the land and improvements in which claimant
resides for the widening of State Highway #4 at Carol Lane, Oakley area.
IV. Consequences of Negative Action:
County would be in noncompliance with State law.
