Recommended Action: r APPROVE the Plans and Specifications for the Project and ADVERTISE for bids to be received on Thursday, August 9, 1990, at 2:00 p.m. DIRECT the Clerk of the Board to publish the Notice to Contractors in accordance with Section 20783 of the Public Contract Code, and I DETERMINE that the project is exempt from CEQA requirements as a Class 1 B Categorical Exemption, and DIRECT the Director of Community Development to file a Notice of Exemption with the County Clerk. II. Financial Impact: The estimated contract cost of the project is $60,500, funded by Sanitation District No. 15 (100%). Reasons for Recommendations and Background: The project is needed to secure the Sanitation District No. 15 Emergency Storage Pond site from trespassing, as requested by the Sanitation District No. 15 Citizen's Advisory Committee. The project has been determined to be in compliance with the General Plan and is exempt from CEQA because it consists of the minor alteration of an existing public facility, involving no expansion of use beyond that previously existing. The Chief Engineer has filed with the Board of Supervisors the Plans and Specifications for the project. The general prevailing rates of wages, which shall be the minimum rates paid on this project, have been filed with the Clerk of the Board and copies will be made available to any interested party upon request. IV. Consequences of Negative Action: If the project is not approved for advertising, it will not be constructed.
