Supervisor McPeak, Chair of the Internal Operations Committee, advised that the Committee did again review on June 4, 1990 the concepts contained in the May 14 report. She advised that the Committee went through a number of items that are refinements of the report which included minimum parcel size for prime agricultur- al soils . He spoke of the need to be cognizant of all consid- erations and options relative to urban limit lines. He advised that he has strong reservations relative to the designation of urban lines lines in Contra Costa County. In commenting on the need to retain agricultural lands , to retain ridge lines , to preserve the natural beauty of this County, and to eliminate what is called urban sprawl , Supervisor Schroder spoke also on the need to maintain the financial stability of the County and of the people who own property in this County. Supervisor Torlakson expressed support for having all five Board members attend the June 11 Internal Operations Committee.
