Spooner, Contracts Administrator Costa DATE: May 15, 1990 County SUBJECT: Approval of Unpaid Student Training Agreement #26-204 with South County Community College District SPECIFIC REQUEST(S) OR RECOMMENDATION(S) & BACKGROUND AND JUSTIFICATION I. RECOMMENDED ACTION: Approve and authorize the Health Services Director or his designee (Frank Puglisi) to execute on behalf of the County, Unpaid Student Training Agreement #26-204 with South County Community College District for the period April 1, 1990 through March 31, 1993 for County' s provision of clinical experience for Medical Records Technician students. II . FINANCIAL IMPACT: None III. REASONS FOR RECOMMENDATIONSLBACKGROUND: The Board has approved several agreements with educational institutions which allow students from various medical specialties to participate in field instruction and education in Health Services Department facilities. Approval of Unpaid Student Training Agreement #26-204 will provide students from Chabot College (South County Community College District) with field instruction and experience in Medical Records. This Unpaid Student Training Agreement is prepared in the standard format approved by County Counsel 's Office and has been executed by South Community College District.
