The Board approved the above recommendations as part of the consent
calendar for today. Later in the morning, Wilbert E. Cossel, 16711 Marsh
Creek Road, # 134, Clayton, representing the Clayton Regency Residents
Association, appeared and asked the Board to rescind its approval. He
advised that they objected to replacement of the bridge, that the people he
represents consider this a historic monument and want to keep it. He
requested that the bridge be kept to a single lane and and he then
enumerated a list of restrictions and signing he would like to see for the
roads in the Deer Valley/Marsh Creek area. As recommended by Supervisor
Torlakson, the Board rescinded its approval action taken earlier this day
and DEFERRED action to June 12, 1990, and requested the Public works
