Approval of Contract Amendment Agreement #24-723-3 with
SUBJECT: Neighborhood House of North Richmond, Inc. for Alcohol Program
Services
SPECIFIC REQUEST(S) OR RECOMMENDATION(S) & BACKGROUND AND JUSTIFICATION
I. RECOMMENDED ACTION:
Approve and authorize the Health Services Director or his designee
(Stuart McCullough) to execute on behalf of the County, Contract
Amendment Agreement #24-723-31 with Neighborhood House of North
Richmond, Inc. , effective May 15, 1990, to amend Standard Contract #24-
723-29 (as amended by Administrative Amendment #24-723-30) to increase
the two year 1989-90 Contract Payment Limit by $8,768 from $947, 972 to
a new total Payment Limit of $956,740.
II. FINANCIAL IMPACT:
This Contract is funded in the Health Services Department Budget (Org.
#5915) ," and this $8,768 increase in the payment limit is financed by
one-time-only Federal Block Grant funds (Federal CAT #13 . 992) . No
additional County funds are required.
III. REASONS FOR RECOMMENDATIONS/BACKGROUND:
This Contractor provides Alcohol Program Services for the County. One-
time-only Federal funds were recently made available to the County, by
the State, and must be used within Fiscal Year 1989-90, to augment the
services the County provides to Alcohol Program clients.
