volunteered to continue to serve ori the Committee to oversee the
maintenance and up-dating. Contra Costa Council was invited and
agreed to share expenses 'for the up-dating and to name a member
to serve on the Committee. Contra Costa County was asked to
share expenses and provide staff to the Committee. Pat Burke,
Management Analyst III , is currently staff to this committee.
The Exhibit was designed to allow for pictorial representation of
Contra Costa County. . With . the up-dating of pictures and text at
least twice a year, several of the noteworthy areas of the County
can appear in the Exhibit. This will continue to give it a "new
look" . Several groups visit the Capitol each year and have
expressed their appreciation of the new Exhibit. The Sacramento
Exhibit Committee shares the Boards ' concern that the State
Capitol Exhibit continue to be a positive representation of
Contra Costa County and is willing to assume responsibility for
coordinating its maintenance and up-dating.
