The CCHP Advisory Board recommends an amendment to AB 3983 which would indicate than in the year in which the State Department of Corporations conducts an onsite medical survey of the health plan, that survey would also serve as the audit which would otherwise be. done by the State Department of Health Services. It appears reasonable to request such an amendment and it is therefore recommended that the Board of Supervisors indicate its support for AB 3983 if the bill is amended as requested by the CCHP Advisory Board. cc: Assemblyman Filante County Administrator Health Services Director Executive Director, CCHP Chairman, CCHP Advisory Board Les Spahnn, SRJ.
