HomeMy WebLinkAboutMINUTES - 05151990 - 1.21 i 1-021 CONTRA COSTA COUNTY BOARD OF SUPERVISORS, AS THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE BYRON FIRE PROTECTION DISTRICT Adopted this Resolution on May 15, 1990, by the following vote: AYES: Supervisors Powers , Schroder , McPeak, Torlakson & Fanden NOES: None ABSENT: None RESOLUTION NO. 90/ 299 (Government Code § No. 25350) SUBJECT: Intention to Purchase Real Property for the Discovery Bay Fire Station Project No. 7005-6X5534 RESOLUTION OF INTENTION TO PURCHASE REAL PROPERTY The Board of Supervisors of Contra Costa County, as the Board of Directors of the Byron Fire Protection District, RESOLVES THAT: It intends to purchase from Pilati Farms for the expansion of the Discovery Bay fire station site, the.real property described in Exhibit "A" attached hereto, for $142,600, in .accordance with the terms and conditions of the Purchase Agreement between the District and the grantors, dated April 23, 1990, which is a fair and reasonable price therefor. A copy of said agreement is on file in the Public Works Department. This Board will meet on June 19, 1990:at 9:00 a.m. in the Board's Chambers, County Administration Building, Martinez, California, to consummate this purchase and the Clerk of this Board is DIRECTED to publish the following notice in the Antioch Daily Ledger pursuant to Government Code Section 6063.. NOTICE OF INTENTION TO PURCHASE REAL PROPERTY The Board of Supervisors of Contra Costa County, as the Board of Directors of the Byron Fire Protection District, declares its intention to purchase from Pilati Farms, at a price of$142,600,that particular real property, being approximately .43 acres of land lying southerly and easterly of the existing Discovery Bay Fire Station at 1535 Discovery Bay Blvd., Byron, California, and more particularly described in Resolution No. 90/ 299 of the Board, and will meet at 9:00 a.m. on June 19, 1990 in its Chambers, County Administration Building, 651 Pine Street, Martinez, California, to consummate the purchase..
