SUBJECT: Intention to Purchase Real Property
for the Discovery Bay Fire Station
Project No. 7005-6X5534
RESOLUTION OF INTENTION TO PURCHASE REAL PROPERTY
The Board of Supervisors of Contra Costa County, as the Board of Directors of the
Byron Fire Protection District, RESOLVES THAT:
It intends to purchase from Pilati Farms for the expansion of the Discovery Bay fire
station site, the.real property described in Exhibit "A" attached hereto, for $142,600, in
.accordance with the terms and conditions of the Purchase Agreement between the
District and the grantors, dated April 23, 1990, which is a fair and reasonable price
therefor. A copy of said agreement is on file in the Public Works Department.
This Board will meet on June 19, 1990:at 9:00 a.m. in the Board's Chambers,
County Administration Building, Martinez, California, to consummate this purchase and
the Clerk of this Board is DIRECTED to publish the following notice in the Antioch Daily
Ledger pursuant to Government Code Section 6063..
NOTICE OF INTENTION TO PURCHASE REAL PROPERTY
The Board of Supervisors of Contra Costa County, as the Board of Directors of the
Byron Fire Protection District, declares its intention to purchase from Pilati Farms, at a
price of$142,600,that particular real property, being approximately .43 acres of land lying
southerly and easterly of the existing Discovery Bay Fire Station at 1535 Discovery Bay
Blvd., Byron, California, and more particularly described in Resolution No. 90/ 299
of the Board, and will meet at 9:00 a.m. on June 19, 1990 in its Chambers, County
Administration Building, 651 Pine Street, Martinez, California, to consummate the
purchase..

Portion of Section 25 Township 1 North, Range 3 East, Mount
Diablo Base and Meridian, described as follows:
,Beginning at the intersection of the eastern line of
Discovery Bay. Boulevard as shown on the map of Subdivision
4687 filed May 24, 1978 in Book 211 of Maps, at Page 5 with
the. southern line of that parcel ofland described in the
deed to Contra Costa County recorded July 3, 1980 in Book
9900 of Official Records., at Page 809; thence along the last
named line as follows: South 89 03 45 East, 95.00 feet; North
0 56' 15 East;. 95.00 feet and North 89 03 45 West, 29.00 feet
to the eastern line of that parcel of land described in the
deed to Contra Costa County .. Sanitation District No. 19
recorded January 2, 1981, in Book 10153 of Official Records,
at Page 624;' thence along said eastern line (10153 O.R. 624)
North 0 56 15 East, 64.80 feet to the southern -line of Lot
172 as said lot is shown on the map of Subdivision 4086 filed
December 15, 1971 in Book 142 of Maps, at Page 45; thence
along said southern line of Lots 172 and 171, southeasterly
along a curve having a radius of 4012. 00 feet, concave to the
south, the center of said curve bears ( South 10 30 49 West) ,
. through a central angle of { 10 17 29 ) , an arc length of
(90.43) feet; thence leaving said southern line as follows:
South 0 56 15 West, 193.75 feet. and South 89 03. 45 West,
155.00 feet to the eastern line of said Discovery Bay
Boulevard; thence along said eastern line North 0 56 15 East.
50,00 feet tothe point of beginning.
