SUBJECT: Intention to Purchase Real Property
for the Devon Fire Station Site,
Pleasant Hill Area

RESOLUTION OF INTENTION TO PURCHASE REAL PROPERTY
The Board of Supervisors of Contra Costa County, as the Board of Directors of the
Contra Costa County Fire Protection District, RESOLVES THAT:
It intends to purchase from Judy and Paul Seidelman for a fire station site, the real
property described in Exhibit "A" attached hereto, for $357,000, in accordance with the
terms and conditions of the Purchase Agreement between the District and the grantors,
dated April 9, 1990, which is a fair and reasonable price therefor. A copy of said
agreement is on file in the Public Works Department.
This Board will meet on May 22, 1990 at 9:00 a.m. in the Board's Chambers,
County Administration Building, Martinez, California, to consummate this purchase and
the Clerk of this Board is DIRECTED to publish the following notice in the Contra Costa
Times pursuant to Government Code Section 6063.
NOTICE OF INTENTION TO PURCHASE REAL PROPERTY
The Board of Supervisors of Contra Costa County, as the Board of Directors of the
Contra Costa County Fire Protection District, declares its intention to purchase from Judy
and Paul Seidelman, at a price of $357,000, the real property located at 90 Devon
Avenue, Pleasant Hill, California and more particularly described in Resolution No. 90/
229 of the Board, and will meet at 9:00 a.m. on May 22, 1990 in its Chambers, County
Administration Building, 651 Pine Street, Martinez, California, to consummate the
purchase.

DESCRIPTION:
All that real property situated in the City of Pleasant Hill , County of Contra
Costa, State of California, described as follows:
Portion of the Rancho Las Juntas, described as follows:
Commencing on the northeast line of the County Road leading from Lafayette to
Martinez, known as Pleasant Hill Road, distant thereon south 390 east, 120.54
feet from the southeast line of the 11.93 acre parcel of land described in the
deed to W.A. Hoffman, et ux, recorded November 23, 1943, Book 752, Official
Records, page 192; thence from said point of commencement north 580 32' 22"
east, 225.47 feet to the actual point_ of beginning of the herein described par-
cel of land; thence from said point of beginning south 400 31' 08" east, 115
feet to a point which bears south 390 east, 114.56 feet and north 580 32' 22"
east from the point of commencement above referred to; thence north 580 32' 22"
. east, 104.95 feet to the center line of -a creek; thence north 400 31' 08" west
along said center line, 206.9 feet to the southeast line of said 11.93 acre par-
cel (752 OR 192) ; thence south 630 30' west along said southeast line, 106.81
feet to a point which bears north 400 31' 08" west from the point of beginning;
thence south 400 31' 08" east, 101.25 feet to the point of beginning.
