SUBJECT: Drainage Area 30A Basin #2 Site - Relocation.
Project No.: 7554-6D8554 Task: ACQ Account: 3540
SPECIFIC UEST(S)OR RECOMMENDATION(S)&BACKGROUND AND JUSTIFICATION
I. Recommended Action:
A. APPROVE claim for moving expense from Walter Powell dated March 14, 1990.
B. AUTHORIZE Principal Real Property Agent to sign claim on behalf of the District.
C. APPROVE payment of $850 for relocation assistance obligation resulting from District's
purchase of property for DA30A Basin #2, when claimant was a tenant.
D. AUTHORIZE the Auditor-Controller to issue a check in the amount of $850 to Walter
Powell to be forwarded to the Real Property Division for delivery.
II. Financial Impact:
Payment of $850 from Drainage Area 30A acquisition funds.
III. Reasons for Recommendations:
The relocation rights and benefits are required by law.
IV. Consequences of Negative Action:
Negative action may result in litigation, appeal and legal exposure and expense for the District.
