Hercules City Council, approving an amendment to the
Contra Costa County Hazardous Waste Management Plan to
provide for "fair share" language.

1.68 Letter dated February 14, 1990 from Assemblywoman Bev
Hanson and Senator Cecil Green, State Capitol,
Sacramento 95814, requesting the Board' s support of
proposed legislation AB 2666 and SB 1830, which clarify
local governments ' ability to adopt fire and panic
safety standards that are stricter than the minimum
Statewide standards proposed by the State Fire Marshal.

congratulating the Board on the success of having the
Contra Costa County Courthouse designated as a National

Fire Protection District.
