SUBJECT: Hearing on Rezoning Application #2863-RZ to rezone approximately 16
acres from Single Family residential (R-20) to Single Family
Residential (R-40 ) . The subject property encompasses adjoining lots
fronting on either side of Wayne Avenue in the Alamo area, filed by
Robert D. McKee et al (Applicants & Owners) (APN 201-030-010) .
SPECIFIC REQUEST S) OR RECOMMENDATIONS(S) & BACKGROUND AND JUSTIFICATION
RECOMMENDATIONS
1. Accept the environmental documentation prepared for this
project as being adequate.
2. Approve the Rezoning Application #2863-RZ as recommended by
the San Ramon Valley Regional Planning Commission.
3. Adopt the San Ramon Valley Regional Planning Commission' s
findings as set forth in Resolution No. 3-1990 as the
determination for these actions.
4. Introduce the ordinance giving effect to the aforesaid
rezoning, waive reading and set forth date for adoption of
same.

On March 13 , 1990, the Board of Supervisors deferred to this date
the decision on the recommendation of the San Ramon Valley Regional
Planning Commission on the request (2863-RZ) by Robert D. McKee, et al
(applicants and owners) to rezone land from Single Family Residential
(R-20) to Single Family Residential (R-40) in the Alamo area.
The following persons requested to speak and were heard by the
Board:
Philip Park, 140 Wayne Avenue, Alamo, presented information on
his property, requesting that his property be eliminated from the
rezoning request.
Karl Wandry, Community Development Department, commented on the
request before the Board, and on the properties included in the
request.
Supervisor Schroder moved approval of the recommendation of the
Planning Commission on the rezoning application.
IT IS BY THE BOARD ORDERED that recommendations 1, 2 , 3 , and 4
are APPROVED; and as in recommendation 4, Ordinance No. 90-23 is
INTRODUCED, reading waived and March 27 , 1990 is set for adoption of
same.
