The above captioned project and the specifications therefor being approved, bids
being duly invited and received, the Chief, Riverview Fire Protection District,
recommending that the bid listed above is the lowest responsible bid and this Board
concurring and so finding;
IT IS ORDERED that the contract for the furnishing of labor and materials for
said work is awarded to said listed bidder at the listed amount and at the unit
prices submitted in said bid; and that said contractor shall present two good and
sufficient surety bonds as indicated above; and that the Riverview Fire Protection
District shall prepare the contract therefor;
IT IS FURTHER ORDERED that, after the contractor has signed the contract and
returned it together with bonds as noted above and any required certificates of
insurance, and County Counsel and the County Administrator have reviewed and approved
them as to form, the Chair of the Board is AUTHORIZED to sign the contract for this
Board;
IT IS FURTHER ORDERED that, upon signature of the contract by the Board
Chair, the bonds posted by the other bidders are to be exonerated and any checks
submitted for security shall be returned.
