FINANCIAL IMPACT: None. REASONS FOR RECOM NDATION: On September 19, i 1989 , the Board of Supervisors accepted the final State Capitol Exhibit. A presentation of the Exhibit was made on January 41 1990 at the State Capitol Building. As April, 1990 has been designated by the Governor as John Muir Month, the ongoing Sacramento Exhibit Committee proposes to change one of the pictures and some text in the display to the attached picture of the John Muir House and text. The John Muir House, located in; Martinez, is a significant part of the history of Contra Costa County and the John Muir celebration. Pictures from the previous exhibit have been turned over to the John Muir House or are held by the committee. All pictures used in the exhibit will be stored for historical purposes. Staff will return to the Board for approval of a plan for the ongoing maintenance and updating of the Exhibit.
