THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS OF CONTRA COSTA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA
Adopted this Order on March 13, 1990 by the following vote:

Municipal Court Administrator to a } Resolution No. 90/156
Salary Range with Performance Steps. )
The Board of Supervisors has enacted Resolution 89/1, as amended referred to as
the Salary Regulations, and Section 20 of that Resolution relates to the
compensation and terms and conditions of employment in deep classes, and
Government Code Section 73353.2(b) provides in part that "The appointing
authority for the positions of county municipal court administrator and
assistant county municipal court administrator may, based upon an evaluation of
work performance, award up to two 2 1/2 percent additional steps (total of 5
percent maximum) for outstanding performance by the employee"; and
The Countywide Municipal Court Judges Association having adopted a resolution
that the out-going County Municipal Court Administrator be granted the 5%
additional compensation for outstanding performance effective January 1, 1990;
NOW THEREFORE:
THE CONTRA COSTA COUNTY BOARD OF SUPERVISORS RESOLVES THAT:
1. Effective January 1, 1990, the classification of County Municipal Court
Administrator (JQA1) is allocated to a seven (7) step extended salary
range (deep class) as indicated below which contains 5% between steps 1-5
and 2.5%- between steps 5-7. Steps 6 and 7 are designated as outstanding
performance pay steps.

2. Effective January 1, 1990, the incumbent of County Municipal Court
Administrator position No. 002 (Roy Chiesa). is allocated at step 7 of
salary schedule XB-2454 in recognition of outstanding performance.
3. Effective April 1, 1990, the incumbent of County Municipal Court
Administrator position No. 004 (Kiri Torre) is appointed at step 5 of
salary schedule XB-2454.
4. The appointing authority may make an initial at any step of the salary
range up to step five.
5. Except as specified above, or as may be changed or modified by resolution
hereafter, all provisions of the County Salary Regulations are applicable
to this deep class.
