NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of Supervisors of the County of Contra Costa, California, hereby URGES Governor Deukmejian to restore the $36.2 million funding item in the State budget for the State Office of Family Planning. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Board EXPRESSES its deep concern over the implications of the complete deletion of Office of Family Planning funds from the State budget as the slack in providing the services must necessarily be made up at the County level and Contra Costa County is already sorely tried in the area of financial resources. Passed and adopted on June 6, 1989, by unanimous vote of the Board members present. I hereby certify that the foregoing is a true and correct copy of a resolution entered in the minutes of the Board of Supervisors on the date aforesaid. Witness my hand and the seal of the Board of Supervisors affixed this sixth day of June, 1989. Phil Batchelor, Clerk of the Board of Supervisors and County Adminisra r.
