Approval of Contract #29-335-3 with the City of E1 Cerrito
SPECIFIC REQUEST(S) OR RECOMMENDATIONS) & BACKGROUND AND JUSTIFICATION
I. RECOMMENDED ACTION:
Approve and authorize the Chairman to execute on behalf of the
County, Contract #29-335-3 with the City of E1 Cerrito for the period
July 1, 1989 - June 30, 1990 for provision of congregate meal
services for the Senior Nutrition Program.
II. FINANCIAL IMPACT:
The contractor will pay County the net project income received from
participants, after adjustment for allowable costs. This contract
is expected to result in a net income to the County of $484 for FY
1989-90.
III. REASONS FOR RECOMMENDATIONS/BACKGROUND:
On July 12, 1988 the Board approved Contract #29-335-2 with .the City
of E1 Cerrito for congregate meal services for the Senior Nutrition
Program. Contract #29-335-3 continues this service during FY 1989-
90. This program provides an average of 50 meals per day, five days
per week, for senior citizens at El Cerrito Open House.
The document has been "approved by the Department's Contracts and
Grants Administrator in accordance with the guidelines approved by
the Board' s Order of December 1, 1981 (Guidelines for contract
preparation and processing, Health Services Department) .
