Appoint to the East Bay Regional Park District Citizens' Advisory Committee for a term expiring January 1, 1991: Charles R. Lewis IV 2517 Tamalpais El Cerrito, CA 94530 2. Remove this item as a referral to our Committee. BACKGROUND: On March 28, 1989 the Board of Supervisors received and referred to our Committee a letter from the General Manager of the East Bay Regional Park District indicating that the Board of Supervisors has two seats on the District's Citizens' Advisory Committee and that one of the incumbents had asked not to be reappointed. We advertised for this vacancy and received five applications. Our Committee has reviewed the applications and recommends Mr.Lewis' appointment. Mr. Lewis currently serves on the Advisory Committee as a representative of the Mayors'Conference. Mr.Lewis'term on the Advisory Committee expires at the end of this year. He wishes to continue serving on the Advisory Committee as a representative of the Board of Supervisors, thereby allowing the Mayors' Conference to make another appointment. Mr. Lewis' application is attached for the Board's information.
