HomeMy WebLinkAboutMINUTES - 05021989 - 1.74 Gt THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS OF CONTRA COSTA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA Adopted this Order on MAY 2, 1989, by the following vote: AYES: Supervisors Powers , Fanden, Schroder and Torlakson NOES: None ABSENT: Supervisor McPeak TRAFFIC RESOLUTION NO. 3312 ABSTAIN: None Supervisorial District V SUBJECT: Pursuant to Section 35707 of the California Vehicle Code Declaring a Load Limit on EMPIRE AVENUE (Road #7871) , OAKLEY The Contra Costa County Board of Supervisors RESOLVES that: On the basis of a traffic and engineering survey and recommendations thereon by the County Public Works Department's Traffic Engineering Division, and pursuant to County Ordinance Code Sections 46-2 .002 - 46-2 . 012, the following traffic regulation is established (and other action taken as indicated) : Pursuant to Sections 35707 of the California Vehicle Code, no commercial vehicle, with or without load, which exceeds a gross weight of 14, 000 pounds shall travel upon any portion of EMPIRE AVENUE (#7871) between State Highway 4 and Lone Tree Way. I hereby certify that this Is a true and correct copy of an action taken and entered on the minutes of the Board of Supervisors on the date shown.
