Adopted this Order on May 23 , 1989 by the following vote:
AYES: Supervisors Powers , Fanden, Schroder, McPeak & Torlakson
NOES: None
ABSENT: None
ABSTAIN: None
SUBJECT: Granting Permission to Completely Close Livorna Road,
Alamo Area.
The Public Work Director having reported that the conditions
of approval. of the Bogue Ranch Subdivision (Subdivision 6743)
required safety improvements to Livorna Road which will require
the closure of the road for a two week period. The exact two
week period is not currently known because of the work to be done
by various utilities in conjunction with the road work.
IT IS BY THE BOARD ORDERED that permission is granted to J.
Patrick Land Company to completely close, except for emergency
traffic and local traffic, Livorna Road between Trotter Way and
Lavender Drive for a period of two weeks between June 1, 1989 and
August 31, 1989 for the purpose of road reconstruction subject to
the following conditions:
1. Traffic will be detoured via local streets.
2 . All signing to be in accordance with the State of
California Manual of Traffic Controls.
3 . The contractor shall comply with the requirements of
the Ordinance Code of Contra Costa County.
4. Have on file with the County a Certificate of Insurance
in the amount of $500, 000 for Comprehensive General
Public Liability which names the County as an
additional insured.
5. Notify the residents within the construction area and
emergency services of the exact dates the road will be
closed at least 48 hours prior to closure.
