Project No' s. 4660-6X4001, 4013, 4014 & 4029 Specific Request(s) or Recommendation(s) & Background & Justification I. RECOMMENDATION APPROVE an increase in the payment limit from $16, 584 to $26, 084 in the existing Consulting Services Agreement with Cartwright Aerial Surveys, Inc. for the performance of aerial surveys and extend the time of completion by 25 calender days. II. FINANCIAL IMPACT Funding for the payment limit increase is being provided by the Oakley Area of Benefit funds (100%) . III. REASONS FOR RECOMMENDATION/BACKGROUND A. On February 14 , 1989, the Board approved a Consulting Services Agreement with Cartwright Aerial Surveys, for providing aerial surveys for Highway 4 between State Route 160 and Cypress Avenue. These aerial surveys will be used to design the widening of Highway 4 . C. The proposed increase in scope of work will provide survey data for design of roads adjacent to Highway 4 in the Oakley area. IV. CONSEQUENCES OF NEGATIVE ACTION The lack of approval would increase the costs and delay the road projects.
