HomeMy WebLinkAboutMINUTES - 05161989 - 1.1 (2) TBE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS OF CONTRA COSTA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA Adopted this Resolution on May 16, 1989 by the following vote: AYES: Supervisors Powers, Fanden, Schroder, McPeak $ Torlakson NOES: None ABSENT: None ABSTAIN: None RESOLUTION NO-89/313 SUBJECT: Approval of the Parcel Map, Subdivision MS 72-88, Lafayette Area, (APN 169-080-004) . The following document was presented for Board approval this date: The Parcel Map of Subdivision MS 72-88, property located in the Lafayette area, said map having been certified by the proper officials; Said document was accompanied by: I. Letter from the County Tax Collector stating that there are no unpaid County taxes heretofore levied on the property included in said map and that the 1988-89 tax lien has been paid in full and that the 1989-90 tax lien, which became a lien on the first day of March, 1989, is estimated to be $1,600; II. Security to guarantee the payment of taxes as required by Title 9 of the County Ordinance Code, in the form of a surety bond, No. 113 26 33, issued by Explorer Insurance Company with Diablo View Estates Investors as principal, in the amount of $1,600 guaranteeing the payment of the estimated tax; The Public works Director has reported that necessary creek improvements along the southerly property line of Subdivision MS 72-88 have not been addressed as required in the conditions of approval and recommends withholding building permits on this property until the scope of necessary creek improvements is known and those improvements are bonded or constructed; NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that said subdivision, together with the provisions for its design and improvement, is DETERMINED to be consistent with the County's general and specific plans; BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that said Parcel Map is APPROVED and this Board does not accept or reject on behalf of the public any of the streets, paths or easements shown thereon as dedicated to public use. BE IT ALSO ORDERED that the Building Inspection Department shall withhold the issuance of building permits on parcels subdivided from land shown as APN 169-080-004 on the Assessor's tax rolls, until clearance is obtained from the Public Works Department.
