SUBJECT: RENTAL AGREEMENT WITH BRIAN J. KING AT BYRON AIRPORT
Specific Request(s) or Recommendation(s) & Background &
Justification
RECOMMENDED ACTION:
APPROVE and AUTHORIZE Chair to sign a month-to-month Rental
Agreement between Contra Costa County and Brian J. King as
recommended by the Public Works Director.
FINANCIAL IMPACT:
Tenant shall pay to County the sum of $800 per month for the first
three months of this Agreement. The rent shall be increased to
$1000 per month during the second three months of this Agreement.
Thereafter, the rent shall be $1200 per month.
REASONS FOR RECOMMENDATION/BACKGROUND:
This Agreement is for the purpose of providing an airframe and
power plant repair facility at Byron Airport. This Agreement is
effective from this date until cancelled by either party with
thirty days prior written notice to the other. The Public Works
Department will enter into interim agreements with Byron tenants
until the new airport is started.
