Clark on ) RESOLUTION NO. 89/247 46 years of outstanding and ) dedicated service to the ) Boy Scouts of America ) WHEREAS, Arthur James Clark will be honored at a community dinner on Saturday, May 6, 1989, in recognition of his 46 years of dedicated service to the Boy Scouts of America; WHEREAS, his record of service to the Boy Scouts of America include Troop 154 Kimball PTA, Troop 158 St Barnabas Church, Scout-o-Rama Chairman, Scouters Key 1968, Woodbadge 1971, Delta District Committee and Council Advisory Board; WHEREAS, in 1976, Mr. . Clark was recognized with the "Silver Beaver Award" which is the highest award presented by the Boy Scout Council for distinguished service to boyhood; WHEREAS, Mr. Clark served as President of the Kimball School PTA in 1957 and received the PTA Honorary Life Award in 1974; WHEREAS, he is an active member of the First Christian Church serving as a Sunday school teacher, Deacon and Board Director and was recently honored with the "God in Service" Award; WHEREAS, Mr. Clark served as a Planning Commissioner for the City of Antioch; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS OF CONTRA COSTA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA, does hereby join the Antioch community in honoring Arthur James Clark for his devoted and dedicated service to the Boy Scouts of America as well as the entire community;' PASSED by unanimous vote of the Board Members present on this 25th day of April, 1989 . I hereby certify that the foregoing is a true and correct copy of an order entered on the minutes of said Board of Supervisors of the date aforesaid.
