SUBJECT: Sale of Surplus Real Property
Las Trampas Creek
Project No. 7520-6B8371
Walnut Creek Area
The Board of Supervisors of Contra Costa County, as the
governing body of the Contra Costa County Flood Control and Water
Conservation District, RESOLVES THAT:
Contra Costa County Flood Control and Water Conservation
District acquired certain real property for the Las Trampas
Creek Channel. A portion of said property as described in
Exhibit "Ar' attached hereto is DETERMINED to be surplus and no
longer necessary for District or other public purposes and its
estimated value does not exceed $10, 000.00.
This Board hereby APPROVES and AUTHORIZES the sale of said
property to the State of California, pursuant to Government Code
Section 25526.5, and the Board Chair is hereby AUTHORIZED to
execute a Grant Deed on behalf of the District in consideration
of $250. 00, the estimated fair market value of the property. The
Board further APPROVES and AUTHORIZES the Public Works Director
to sign, on behalf of the District, the Right of Way Contract
with the State of California.
The Real Property Division is DIRECTED to cause the Grant
Deed to be delivered to the grantee.

EXHIBIT A
COMMENCING at the northerly corner of PARCEL 2, as said PARCEL 2 is
described in the Director's Quitclaim Deed to Contra Costa County Flood Control
and Water Conservation District, recorded April 7, 1961 in Volume 3841, Page 187,
Official Records of said county; thence along the northeasterly line of said
parcel S. 52°02155" E., 135.33 feet to the northerly line of Lot 8, as said lot
is shown on the Map of Newell Tract, filed February 24, 1940 in Map Book 24, Page
746, et seq., in the Office of the Recorder of Contra Costa County; thence along
last said line and the northerly line of Lot 9 of said tract S. 67°53144" W.,
50.58 feet; thence N. 76°54108" W., 136.28 feet to the northwesterly line of said
PARCEL 2; thence along last said line N. 45035156" E., 102.02 feet to the point
of ccmTencement.
CONTAINING 0.203 of an acre, more or less.
This conveyance is made for the purposes of a freeway and the grantor hereby
releases and relinquishes to the grantee any and all abutter's rights of access,
appurtenant to grantor's remaining property, in and to said freeway.
The bearings and distances used in the above description are on the
California Coordinate System of 1927, Zone 3. Multiply the above distances by
1.0000752 to obtain ground level distances.
