Adopted this Order on March 28, 1989 by the following vote:
AYES: Supervisors Powers , Fanden, Schroder, McPeak & Torlakson
NOES: None
ABSENT: None
ABSTAIN: None
SUBJECT: Granting Permission to Completely Close Parker Avenue,
Rodeo Area.
IT IS BY THE BOARD ORDERED that permission is granted to the
Rodeo Baseball Association to completely close except for
emergency traffic Parker Avenue between San Pablo Avenue and 7th
Street on April 1, 1989 from 8:30 a.m. to 10: 00 a.m. for the
purpose of conducting a parade subject to the following
conditions:
1. Traffic will be detoured via 7th Street, Garretson
Avenue, 1st Street and Rodeo Avenue.
2 . All signing to be in accordance with the State of
California Manual of Traffic Controls.
3 . The Rodeo Baseball Association shall comply with the
requirements of the Ordinance Code of Contra Costa
County.
4 . Have on file with the County a Certificate of Insurance
in the amount of $500, 000 for Comprehensive General
Public Liability which names the County as an
additional insured.
5. Obtain approval for the closure from the Rodeo Chamber
of Commerce, the Sheriff's Department, the California
Highway Patrol and the Fire District.
