Weisenburg on Final Development Plan 3024-82 and Subdivision 6013 in the Bethel Island Area and Consideration of Settlement Agreement Relative to Delta Coves v. Contra Costa County and L.E. Weisenburg v. Contra Costa County. The Board of Supervisors on May 17, 1988 continued to this date the hearing on the applications by Delta Coves and L.E. Weisenburg (applicant and owner) for approval of a Tentative Subdivision Map to create 495 Single Family lots and 65 townhouse lots with several commercial lots, 140 berths and common area (Subdivision 6013) and for approval of Final Development Plan 3024-82 to construct the above project located on Bethel Island, served by Bethel Island Road and bounded by Gateway Road on the north and Stone Road on the south in the Bethel Island area; and to consider a settlement agreement for Delta Coves v. County of Contra Costa, et al, Contra Costa County Superior Court No. 255111, and Weisenburg v. Contra Costa County, USDC No. C-86-5842 MHP. Chairman Schroder advised those present of the desire to defer decision on this item to June 21, 1988 to allow the Board of Supervisors the opportunity to take a water tour of Bethel Island which would be done prior to the June 21, 1988 meeting. The following persons appeared to speak: Bill Perkins, Box 253 , Bethel Island, President of Pleasant Times Mutual Water Corporation, commented on issues including a Stone Road water line running across the property where the breach will be for Delta Coves and that if the breach is made it will isolate approximately twelve homes or lots. He commented on the supply of water to the homes in question and the effect of the Delta Coves development on the water company. Rita J. Davis, resident North Stone Road, commented on a letter she had sent to each of the Supervisors, no copy of that letter having been submitted to the Clerk. On recommendation of Supervisor Torlakson, IT IS BY THE BOARD ORDERED that the hearing on the above matter is CONTINUED to June 21, 1988 at 2: 00 p.m. 1 hereby certify that this Is a true and correct copy of an action taken and entered on the minutes of the Board of Sups Igor$ on the date showrn.
