SUBJECT: Approving Plans and Specifications for Wildcat Creek Verde School
Sewer Relocation, Project No. 7527-6D8618, Richmond Area.
Specific Request(s) or Reccumendation(s) & Background & Justification
I. ACTIC N:
APPROVE the Plans and Specifications for the Wildcat Creek Vence School
Sewer Relocation Project and ADVERTISE for bids to be received on Thursday,
June 30, 1988 at 2:00 p.m.
DIRECT the Clerk of the Board to publish the Notice to Contractors in
accordance with Section 20125 of the Public Contract Code.
II. FINANCIAL IMPACT:
The estimated contract cost of the project is $240,230. It is to be funded
by Flood Control Zone 7 (24.62%) and Department of Water Resources (75.38%) .
III. REASONS FUR C�T/BAC�JND
The Chief Engineer has filed with the Board of Supervisors the Plans and
Specifications for the Wildcat Creek-Verde School Sewer Relocation Project.
The general prevailing rates of wages, which shall be the minimum rates paid
on this project, have been filed with the Clerk of the Board and copies will
be made available to any interested party upon request.
This project has been determined to be in compliance with the General Plan.

The Board reviewed and considered the information contained in the final
Environmental Impact Report (EIR) for the Wildcat/San Pablo Creeks Project
which addressed utility relocations on May 18, 1982, and certified that the
EIR had been completed in compliance with the California Environmental
Quality Act and adopted the findings and mitigating measures expressed in
Planning Commission Resolution No. 10-1982 which mitigate these effects.
