SUBJECT:Revenue Lease - Landscaping Lease - Treat Boulevard and Cherry
Lane, Walnut Creek (WLP799)
SPECIFIC REQUEST(S) OR RECOMMENDATION(S) & BACKGROUND AND JUSTIFICATION
I. RECOMMENDED ACTION:
AUTHORIZE the Director of General Services to EXECUTE, on
behalf of the County, a Lease with Christopher and Kari
Edwards for vacant County land at Treat Boulevard Road and
Cherry Lane, Walnut Creek, under the terms and conditions more
particularly set forth in said Lease.
II. FINANCIAL IMPACT:
Rent payments of $120 .00 per year will be received by County
and placed in the Road Fund.
III. REASONS FOR RECOMMENDATIONS/BACKGROUND:
Lease provides area resident the opportunity to use adjacent
County land for landscaping purposes. Lease was requested by
Supervisor Schroder and Community Development Department.
