Bragdon Contra Director of Community Development Costa DATE: June 14, 1988 Coin/ SUBJECT: Approval of the 1988-89 Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Program Project Agreement; Najera Estates Homeowners Association SPECIFIC REQUEST(S) OR RECOMMENDATIONS(S) & BACKGROUND AND JUSTIFICATION RECOMMENDATIONS Authorize the Chair to approve the 1988-89 CDBG program project agreement with Najera Estates Homeowners Association, implementing activity 14-55 for Mortgage Assistance for $78,600 - comprised of funds carried over from 1987-88 grant. FISCAL IMPACT None ( 100% HUD Funds) BACKGROUND/REASONS FOR RECOMMENDATIONS This agreement provides funds to allow mortgage assistance in the form of deferred second deed of trust loans to low and moderate income buyers in Najera Estates.
