SPECIFIC REQUEST(S) OR RECOMMENDATIONS(S) & BACKGROUND AND JUSTIFICATION
RECOMMENDATIONS
Authorize the Chair to approve the 1988-89 CDBG program project
agreement with Najera Estates Homeowners Association, implementing
activity 14-55 for Mortgage Assistance for $78,600 - comprised of
funds carried over from 1987-88 grant.
FISCAL IMPACT
None ( 100% HUD Funds)
BACKGROUND/REASONS FOR RECOMMENDATIONS
This agreement provides funds to allow mortgage assistance in the
form of deferred second deed of trust loans to low and moderate
income buyers in Najera Estates. This residential development is
on a 9.75 acre parcel between O'Hara Avenue and Cypress Avenue in
Oakley._
