HomeMy WebLinkAboutMINUTES - 06211988 - 1.16 -�; . 1 b THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS OF CONTRA COSTA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA, AS THE GOVERNING BOARD OF THE CONTRA COSTA COUNTY FLOOD CONTROL AND WATER CONSERVATION DISTRICT Adopted this Resolution on June 21, 1988 by the following vote: AYES: Supervisors Powers , Fanden, McPeak, Torlakson & Schroder NOES: None ABSENT: None ABSTAIN: None Resolution No. 88/ 366 SUBJECT: Notification of Hearing to Determine and Impose the Annual Benefit Assessment for Drainage Area 67A, Walnut Creek Area Project 7505-6F8166, Drainage Area 75A, San Ramon Area Project 7536-6D8445, Drainage Area 76A, Walnut Creek Area Project 7505-6F-8272 , Drainage Area 520, Oakley Area Project 7505-6F8273 , Drainage Area 1010, Danville/San Ramon Area Project 7505-6F8274 . Contra Costa County Flood Control and Water Conservation District Drainage Areas 67A, 75A, 76A, 520, 1010 were established by the Board and the levying of a benefit assessment was authorized by a vote of a majority of the eligible voters residing in the Drainage Areas; and Section 54715 of the Benefit Assessment Act of 1982 requires a public hearing for the imposition of the annual assessment. IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED that July 26, 1988 at 11: 00 a.m. in the Board chambers a public hearing will be held to determine and impose the Fiscal Year 1988/89 Annual Benefit Assessment on all parcels of land within Drainage Areas 67A, 76A, 520, and 1010. The Board further RESOLVES that the Clerk of the Board is directed to publish a Notice of Public Hearing, pursuant to Government Code Section 6066, once a week for two (2) successive weeks prior to the hearing in the Contra Costa Times, a newspaper of general circulation, circulated in the area of the Drainage Areas. Publication shall be completed at least seven (7) days before said hearing and said notice shall be given for a period of not less than twenty (20) days. The Clerk of the Board is also DIRECTED, at least fourteen (14) days prior to the hearing, to mail a copy of the attached Notice to any interested party who has filed a written request for mailed Notice with the Clerk of the Board as provided in Government Code Section 54986 (a) and 54991 (a) . At the public hearing, the Board will consider all written and oral comnents on the proposed actions and will either determine and impose the benefit assessment on the parcels, continue the hearing, or abandon the proposed action.
