HomeMy WebLinkAboutMINUTES - 06141988 - 2.9 THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS OF CONTRA COSTA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA 2. 9 Adopted this Order on June 14, 1988 by the following vote: AYES: Supervisors Powers, Fanden, McPeak, Torlakson, and Schroder NOES: None ABSENT: None ABSTAIN: None --------------------------------------------------------------------- SUBJECT: George Swallow Request, Laurel Drive, Danville The Board of Supervisors on April 12, 1988 continued the decision on the request of George Swallow for the Board of Supervisors to affirm a fifty foot road crossing of the former Southern Pacific Railroad property at Laurel Drive in Danville to allow Supervisor Schroder the opportunity to confer with Mr. Swallow, Cal Trans and the Town of Danville. Based on advice received from County Counsel and the possibility that Cal Trans may purchase this property for a park n' ride lot in conjunction with the Town of Danville, Supervisor Schroder moved to deny Mr. Swallow' s request for the fifty foot right-of-way. Therefore, IT IS BY THE BOARD ORDERED that the request of Mr. George Swallow for the Board of Supervisors to affirm a fifty foot crossing of the former Southern Pacific Railroad property at Laurel Drive in Danville is DENIED.
