SUBJECT: George Swallow Request, Laurel Drive, Danville
The Board of Supervisors on April 12, 1988 continued the decision
on the request of George Swallow for the Board of Supervisors to
affirm a fifty foot road crossing of the former Southern Pacific
Railroad property at Laurel Drive in Danville to allow Supervisor
Schroder the opportunity to confer with Mr. Swallow, Cal Trans and the
Town of Danville.
Based on advice received from County Counsel and the possibility
that Cal Trans may purchase this property for a park n' ride lot in
conjunction with the Town of Danville, Supervisor Schroder moved to
deny Mr. Swallow' s request for the fifty foot right-of-way.
Therefore, IT IS BY THE BOARD ORDERED that the request of Mr.
George Swallow for the Board of Supervisors to affirm a fifty foot
crossing of the former Southern Pacific Railroad property at Laurel
Drive in Danville is DENIED.
I hereby certify that this is a true and correctcopy of
an action taken and entered on the minutes of the
Board of Supervisors on the date shown.
