SPECIFIC REQUESTS (S) OR RECOMMENDATIONS) & BACKGROUND AND
JUSTIFICATION
I. Recommended Action:
ACCEPT Tax Deed dated May 24, 1988 from the Tax Collector of
Contra Costa County and AUTHORIZE the Auditor-Controller to
issue a check for $245.25 payable to Alfred P. Lomeli, County
Tax Collector.
II. Financial Impact:
H.U.D. is to reimburse the Agency for the $245.24 expendi-
ture.
III. Reasons for Recommendations/Background:
The property being acquired from the Tax Collector is
required for a H.U.D. sponsored affordable housing project
located in the North Richmond Redevelopment Project area, and
is a part of 7 parcels to be purchased in the block bounded
by Market, Giaramita, Silver and 5th Streets.
