SUBJECT: Consummate Purchase and Accept Grant Deed
for a Fire Station Site on Live Oak Avenue

The Board of Supervisors of Contra Costa County as the
Board of Directors of the Oakley Fire Protection
District RESOLVES THAT:
This Board on March 29, 1988 passed Resolution of
Intention No. 88/137 and Notice fixing May 3, 1988 at 9: 00
a.m. in its Chambers, County Administration Building, 651 Pine
Street, Martinez, California, as the time and place where it
would meet to consummate the purchase of the real property
described therein from William and Patricia J. Rogers, said
property being required for a fire station site. Said Resolution
was duly published in the Antioch Ledger in compliance with
Govt. Code Section 6063.
The Board hereby consummates said purchase and approves
the Right of Way Contract dated March 7, 1988, between William
and Patricia J. Rogers, and the Oakley Fire Protection District
for a fire station site and authorizes the County Administrator
to sign the Right of Way Contract on behalf of the Oakley Fire
Protection District.
The County Auditor-Controller is hereby DIRECTED to
draw a warrant in favor of Founders Title Insurance Company,
Escrow No. 872752, for $25,500 for said property for payment to
William and Patricia J. Rogers, upon their conveying to the
Oakley Fire District a Grant Deed therefor.
Said Grant Deed, dated March 7, 1988 is hereby ACCEPTED
and the Real Property Division is ORDERED to have it recorded,
together with a certified copy of this resolution.
