Diablo Hospital ) RESOLUTION NO. 88/ 198 Medical Center ) One of America' s greatest national resources is its volunteers. Each year thousands of volunteers contribute their human resources to the betterment of their community and toward a healthy, productive and humane society. These volunteers give freely of their time, energy and ability and ask only for a smile and a thank you for their countless hours of service. Since it has long been a tradition in our community for men and women volunteers to perform work of the highest quality and to brighten the lives of others, it is therefore fitting to recognize our volunteers when the nation is observing NATIONAL VOLUNTEER WEEK. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Supervisors that it takes great pleasure in honoring the volunteers of Mt. Diablo Medical Center, conveying its sincere gratitude and appreciation for their dedicated, selfless and compassionate efforts on behalf of the citizens of our County.
