The Board of Supervisors of Contra Costa County RESOLVES THAT:
On March 8, 1988, this Board passed Resolution No. 88/108,
declaring its intention to vacate the county street described in
Exhibit "A" attached hereto and incorporated herein by. this
reference and fixed April 12, 1988 at 9: 00 a.m. , in its Chambers,
as the time and place for the hearing thereon, and ordered that
the resolution be published and posted as required by law, which
was done as shown on affidavits on file with this Board.
The hearing was held at that time and place, this Board hearing
and duly considering all evidence offered concerning the vacation
by all interested parties.
This Board hereby determines pursuant to Streets and Highways
Code Section 2381 that the area to be vacated is not useful as a
nonmotorized transportation facility.
This Board hereby FINDS that the public road is unnecessary for
present or prospective public use.
This Board hereby FINDS that the proposed vacation will not
have a significant effect on the environment, and that it has
been determined to be categorically exempt from the California
Environmental Quality Act under State CEQA Guidelines Section
15312. The proposed vacation is part of a sale of surplus
government property not located in an area of statewide, regional
or area wide concern. The Public Works Director is ORDERED to
file a Notice of Exemption with the County Clerk. This Board has
considered the general plan and FINDS pursuant to Government Code
Section 65402 that, in accordance with its Resolution No. 81/522,
this vacation is minor in nature.
This Board further DETERMINES, pursuant to Streets and Highways
Code Section 8340, the public convenience and necessity require

that no easement be reserved for utilities in the area to be
vacated.
This Board declares that the hereinabove described proposed
vacation area is HEREBY ORDERED VACATED subject to any
reservation and exception described in attached Exhibit "A" .
From and after the date this Resolution is recorded, the portion
vacated no longer constitutes a public highway.
The Real Property Division is ORDERED to record a certified
copy of this Resolution in the office of the County Recorder.

All that portion of Las Juntas Way as said Las Juntas Way is being a portion
of the Rancho las Juntas described as follows:
Beginning at the southeastern corner of lot 37 as said Lot 37 'is shown and
so designated on the map entitled ITmat 2027 Fstralla Rancho-Unit No. 311,
filed in Book 56 of Maps at Page 5 in the Office of the County Recorder of
Contra Costa County; thence, frtxn said Point of Beginning (the bearings of
this description being referenced to the California coordinate system Zone
III) south 010 591 2211 west 5.20 feet; thence, along the arc of a ran-
tangent 486.00 foot radius curve to the left the center of which bears south
080 371 3011 west through a central 'angle of 020 461 2911 an arc distance of
23.53 feet to a point of reverse curvature; thence, along the arc of a 60.00
foot radius curve to the right through a central angle of 160 311 4811 an arc
distance of 17.31 feet to the southern line of said lot 37; thence, along
said southern line the following 2 (two) courses: 1) south 880 521 4211 east
11.01 feet and 2) along the arc of a 361.91 foot radius curve to the right

of the Rancho las Juntas described as follows:
Ccumiencing at the northwestern corner of Parcel 4 as said Parcel 4 Is
described on that certain parcel of land conveyed to 505 Oak Road
Associates, an Illinois limited Partnership by deed recorded February 4,
1986, in Book 12730 of Official Records at Page 150 in the office of the
County Recorder of Contra Costa County; thence, from said point of
coamenoement along the northern line of said Parcel 4 along the arc of a
non-tangent 378-12 foot radius curve to the left the center of which bears
north 120 311 1911 east through a central angle of 120 ill 5911 an arc
distance of 80.51 feet to the True Point of Beginning of the herein
described parcel of land; thence, from said Point of Beginning (the bearings
of this description being referenced to the California coordinate system,
Zone III) continuing along said northern line the following 2 (two) courses:
1) along the arc of a non-tangent 378.12 foot radius curve to the left the
center of which bears north ooO 191 2011 east through a central angle of 100
391 2511 an arc distance of 70.33 feet and 2) north 790 391 5511 east 1.41
feet; thence, leaving said northern line along the arc of a non-tangent
192-00 foot radius curve to the left the-.center of which bears south 020 571
0111 east through a central angle of 020 161 5711 an arc distance of 7.65
feet; thence, south 840 461 0211 west 63.99 feet to the Point of Beginning
and containing 86 square feet of land, more or less.

B.A.R.T. maps at pages I through io, being a portion of the Rancho Las
Juntas described as follows:
Beginning at the northwestern corner of Parcel 0-0060 as said parcel is
shown on said B.A.R.T. map; thence, from said Point of Beginning (the
bearings of this description being referenced to the California Coordinate
System, Zone III) along the northern line of said Parcel 0--0060 north 890
421 3611 east 11.37 feet; thence, leaving said northern line north 870 531
3111 west 11.38 feet; thence, south 000 171 2411 east 0.48 feet to the Point
of Beginning and containing 3 square feet of lard more or less.
