From: Web Beadle Subject: Clerk Reallocation ' Departmental Personnel Officer (F. Hammond) This is another in the series of routine classification changes in our Patient Accounting office reflecting the reassignment of duties from general clerical to accounting clerical in nature. As you know, our practice is to hire from outside the County into vacant clerk positions at the Beginning or Experienced Levels. As employees become trained and more knowledgable in the billing process, they are gradually assigned more clearly accounting clerical tasks. We then ask to reallocate them to Account Clerk-Beginning Level from which they later promote to the Experienced Level. The attached request relating to the above named employee is another such request. The attachment to Ms. Hammond's application contains a brief description of her present position duties. There is no cost associated with this request as both salary levels are identical. The employee will continue to use the same space and equipment as before. Please shoot for placement of the attached P-300 on the 4/19/88 Board agenda. WB:RP:rp Attachments cc: Pat Godley Betty Garrison Ray Philbin Randee Gibbons A-41 ;iJ81
