SUBJECT: Resolution and Notice of Intention
to Convey Real Property to the
City of Richmond
240 South 6th Street, Richmond Area
Assessor's Parcel No. 550-202-008, 009
Project No. 4301-6G5503
The Board of Supervisors of Contra Costa County
RESOLVES THAT:
This Board intends to convey to the City of Richmond,
County owned real property located at 240 So. 6th Street,
Richmond, and described in the attached Notice for $40,450 cash
and a vacant lot (APN 409-152-021) in North Richmond worth
$10,000, in accordance with the terms and conditions of the Real
Property Exchange Agreement with the City on file in the Public
Works Department. The Contra Costa County Redevelopment Agency
is to purchase said lot from the County for $10, 000 for inclusion
in the North Richmond H.U.D. Affordable Housing Project.
The 240 So. 6th Street property is not required for
County use and the sale price is the market value of said
property.
This Board hereby sets Tuesday, May 3 , 1988 at 9: 00
a.m. in the Board's Chambers in the County Administration
Building, 651 Pine Street, Martinez, California, as the time and
place it will meet to consummate this conveyance by a four-fifths
vote.
The Clerk of this Board is hereby DIRECTED to have the
attached Notice published one time, at least one week preceding
the date set for hearing in the West County Times, a newspaper of
general circulation (pursuant to Government Code Section 6061) .
The Board hereby FINDS that the project will not have a
significant effect on the environment, and DETERMINES that the
project is exempt from the requirements of the California
Environmental Quality Act as a Class 12 Categorical Exemption
under County Guidelines and Section 15312 of the State CEQA
Guidelines, and DIRECTS the Public Works Director to file a
Notice of Exemption with the County Clerk. This activity has
been found to conform to the General Plan of the City of
Richmond.
