RESOLUTION OF INTENTION TO VACATE A
PUBLIC STREET
The Board of Supervisors of Contra Costa County RESOLVES THAT:
Pursuant to Chapter 3, "General Vacation Procedure, " of Part 3
of Division 9 of the Streets and Highways Code, this Board
declares its intention to vacate a portion of the county street
commonly known as Las Juntas Way described in attached Exhibit
"A" . This proposed vacation is generally located in the area of _
Pleasant Hill. A map of the portion to be vacated is on file in
the Public Works Department.
This Board will meet on Tuesday, April 12, 1988 at 9: 00 a.m. in
its Chambers, Administration Building, 651 Pine Street, Martinez,
California, to hear evidence offered by any interested party as
to whether this is unnecessary for present or prospective public
use.
This Board DIRECTS the Clerk to have a copy of this resolution
of intention published in a newspaper of general circulation
published and circulated in this County, which is selected as the
newspaper most likely to give notice to persons interested in the
proposed vacation, for at least two successive weeks before the
hearing in accordance with Streets and Highways Code, Sections
8320 and 8322 . Said notice shall be posted conspicuously along
the line of this proposed vacation at least two weeks before the
hearing, in accordance with Streets and Highways Code, Section
8323.

Parcel P37
All that portion of Las Juntas Way as said Las Juntas Way is being a portion
of the Rancho Las Juntas described as follows:
Beginning at the southeastern corner of lot 37 as said Lot 37 is Shawn and
so designated on the map entitled "Tract 2027 Estralla Rand-ho-Unit No. 311,
filed in Book 56 of Maps at Page 5 in the Office of the County Recorder of
Contra Costa County; thence, from said Point of Beginning (the bearings of
this description being referenced to the California Coordinate System Zone
III) south 010 59' 22" west 5.20 feet; thence, along the arc of a non-
tangent 486.00 foot radius curve to the left the center of which bears south
080 37' 30" west through a central angle of 020 46' 29" an arc distance of
23.53 feet to a point of reverse curvature; thence, along the arc of a 60.00
foot radius curve to the right through a central angle of 160 31' 48" an arc
distance of 17.31 feet to the southern line of said lot 37; thence, along
said southern line the following 2 (two) courses: 1) south 880 52' 42" east
11.01 feet and 2) along the arc of a 361.91 foot radius curve to the right
through a central angle of 040 38' 26" an arc distance of 29.31 feet to the
Point of beginning and containing 146 square feet of land more or less.

All that portion of Las Juntas Way as said Las Juntas Way is being a portion
of the Rancho Las Juntas described as follows:
Comiencing at the northwestern corner of Parcel 4 as said Parcel 4 is
described on that certain parcel of land conveyed to 505 Oak Road
Associates, an Illinois limited partnership by deed recorded February 4,
1986, in Book 12730 of Official Records at Page 150 in the Office of the
County Recorder of Contra Costa County; thence, from said point of
commencement along the northern line of said Parcel 4 along the arc of a
non-tangent 378.12 foot radius curve to the left the center of which bears
north 120 31' 19" east through a central angle of 120 11' 59" an arc
distance of 80.51 feet to the True Point of Beginning of the herein
described parcel of land; thence, from said Point of Beginning (the bearings
of this description being referenced to the California Coordinate System,
Zone III) continuing along said northern line the following 2 (two) courses:
1) along the arc of a non-tangent 378.12 foot radius curve to the left the
center of which bears north 000 19' 20" east through a central angle of 100
39' 25" an arc distance of 70.33 feet and 2) north 790 39' 55" east 1.41
feet; thence, leaving said northern line along the arc of a non-tangent
192.00 foot radius curve to the left the center of which bears south 020 57'
01" east through a central angle of 020 16' 57" an arc distance of 7.65
feet; thence, south 840 46' 02" west 63.99 feet to the Point of Beginning
and containing 86 square feet of land, more or less.

All that portion of Las Juntas Way as said Ias Juntas Way is shown and so
designated on the map entitled "San Francisco Bay Area Rapid Transit
District Record Map of Right-of-Tay, Central Contra Costa Line" recorded in
the Office of the County Recorder of Contra Costa County in Book 3 of
B.A.R.T. maps at pages 1 through 10, being a portion of the Rancho las
Juntas described as follows:
Beginning at the northwestern corner of Parcel 0-0060 as said parcel is
shown on said B.A.R.T. map; thence, from said Point of Beginning (the
bearings of this description being referenced to the California Coordinate
System, Zone III) along the northern line of said Parcel 0-0060 north 890
42' 36" east 11.37 feet; thence, leaving said northern line north 870 53'
31" west 11.38 feet; thence, south 000 17' 24" east 0.48 feet to the Point
of Beginning and containing 3 square feet of land more or less.
