HomeMy WebLinkAboutMINUTES - 03081988 - 1.1 (2) THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS OF CONTRA COSTA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA Adopted this Order on March 8, 1988 by the following vote: AYES: Supervisors Powers , Fanden, McPeak, Torlakson & Schroder NOES: None ABSENT: None ABSTAIN: None SUBJECT: Releasing "Acquisition of Off Site Right of Way" Agreement Deposit for Subdivision 6889, Concord Area. The Board on September 29, 1987, having authorized the Public Works Director to execute an "Acquisition of Off Site Right of Way" Agreement with Vantage Homes, a limited partnership, developer of Subdivision 6889, Concord area, whereby a cash bond in the amount $8, 000 (Auditor's Deposit Permit No. 129575, dated September 11, 1987) was deposited as security to ensure payment of all costs in the acquisition of a drainage easement across property owned by Conco Cement, and a cash bond in the amount of $7, 000 (Auditor's Deposit Permit No. 129575, dated September 11, 1987) was deposited as security to cover the acquisition costs of a second storm drain easement across property owned by the United State of American (Naval Weapons Station) ; and The Public Works Director having reported that the aforesaid Conco easement has been acquired and having recommended that he be authorized to refund $8, 000, plus interest in accordance with Government Code Section 53079, if appropriate, to Vantage Homes, a limited partnership; and The Public Works Director having further reported that the Naval Weapons Station easement has not yet been acquired and having recommended that said $7, 000 security be retained.
