TRAFFIC RESOLUTION NO. 3225
ABSTAIN: None Supervisorial District I & II
SUBJECT: Pursuant to Section 31304 of the California Vehicle
Code, prohibit transport of any hazardous materials on
portions of San Pablo Dam Road and Bear Creek Road, E1
Sobrante/Orinda
The Contra Costa County Board of Supervisors RESOLVES that:
Upon the recommendations of the County Public Works Director and
pursuant to County Ordinance Code Sections 46-2 . 002 - 46-2 . 012 ,
the following traffic regulation is established (and other action
taken as indicated) :
Pursuant to Section 31304 of the California
Vehicle Code, no vehicle shall transport any
hazardous materials or hazardous waste for
which the display of placards or markings is
required pursuant to Vehicle Code 29903 , on
those portions of the following County
maintained roads:
SAN PABLO DAM ROAD (Rd. #0961C) Beginning at
the intersection of Castro Ranch Road in E1
Sobrante and extending easterly to the
intersection of Bear Creek Road/Wildcat
Canyon Road in Orinda.

BEAR CREEK ROAD (Rd. #2351) Beginning at the
intersection of Alhambra Valley Road on the
north and extending southerly to the city
limits of Orinda on the south.
